1 Timothy 5-8
The service was a festive one as the song leader was assisted by Group Delivrance from Douala. After singing and announcements, Pastor Lambe climbed on the pulpit, he expressed gratitude for the assistance he received during the burial of his sister and his brother-in-law. To which a musical concert was held in their honour later that Sunday.
He then presented Pastor Tchaouke Jean-Marc who said a few words to the church. He reminded us that the promises of God will come to pass, to be patient no matter how long it may tarry. He added a scripture from luke 1:45
This was followed by the Engagement ceremony of brother Alossa Joseph and sister Belle by Pastor Lambe.
Brother Tchakounte Bertrand and Sister Elizabeth also renewed their vows in celebration of their 10years anniversary.
Pastor Lambe in his sermon also titled the family spirit, he said many times we die of hunger\ poverty because we have put a lot of people in our hearts. Making ourselves prisoners, restricting our blessings and movement.
The prophet’s son says one could never know who was his father’s friend or enemy as he embraced everyone.
Love does not know tribe or race, it only knows humanity.
Where God leads you to work or has led you to live becomes your family.
Make yourself comfortable where you are and do not look for errors in people. We were reminded to speak good about people just like God calls David a man after my heart.
Cleaning our hearts will enable us to find space for every human being and this will give us all we can need.
The Pastor ended the service with a closing prayer.
