Service of Sunday 26th September 2021 at
The House of Prayer Great Soppo, Buea.

Singing: Br Chinenye Divine
Moderator: Pastor Chaimoh Fidelis
Preacher: Rev Keka Frederick
Theme: Divine Healing
Topic: The Double Cure
Text: 1peter 2:24, Exodus 15:25

After singing and announcements, Reverend Keka mounted the pulpit with a word from the Lord. Being a health personnel in charge of Covid 19, he briefly gave a talk on this disease before his exhortation.

In his sermon, Rev Frederick said it is very clear in our spirit that Jesus died for our sins, but christians do not have this assurance with healing. The same work that purchased salvation also purchased healing.
The word of God comes before healing he emphasized
What attitude do we have towards divine healing Rev Keka asked?
You have to be humble when seeking for healing.
He pondered on the business done in the name of healing through the sales of water, oil, stickers among others. To him freely you receive, freely you give.
What is your motive for divine healing the preacher inquired?
Is it to live a sinful life or a righteous one like King Hezekiah who had valid reasons such that God added his days.
Things are getting worst and tough, but God’s church is making herself ready.
Mark 2:5-11
Divine healing cannot be approached without forgiveness.
The church is like a kitchen sink Rev Frederick demonstrated; some plates have not yet been touched, other plates are in water to be washed and some other plates have already been washed and arranged to get dry.
So the clean plates should wait for the other dirty plates to pass through the cleaning process they pass through. Christianity is a process so people should stop scandalizing others.
Concentration and consecration enables the receiving of visions, miracles and big things from God. We need to spend time with God.
When God heals you do not forget Him, because He enjoys praise and thanksgiving that is why he asked the leper who came back to thank Him that where are the other nine lepers who were also healed.
It was a closing prayer from Pastor Fidelis that brought the service to an end.
