YAOUNDE YOUTH AND NEWLY BAPTIZED RETREAT
The long awaited retreat at Yahshua Hamashia Tabernacle at the benefit of the Yaounde youths and newly baptized finally kick started as previewed today the 11th of February 2021. Under the theme ” THE BAPTISM OF THE HOLY GHOST”, youths and newly baptized brothers and sisters gathered just as the 120 in the upper room on the day of Pentecost seeking for the Holy Spirit . Many came believing the Word as written in Luke 11:13b, “… how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him?”. While the other youths were celebrating the youth day here in Cameroon in the manner they know best (worldly activities), the privileged Christian youths were at the foot of the cross crying for mercy and seeking for the Holy Spirit.
After the worship and praises led by brother Tamafouo Guillaume, the officiating man of God, brother Ombamg Christian mounted the pulpit to unveil the program of the day and introduce the preacher in the person of the prophet of the age, William Marrion Branham. He read from Acts 1:1-11 and Matthew 5:6 to introduce the prophet. The audience first of all received a powerful prayer by the prophet from an extract of his sermon “The Choosing of a Bride” 65-0429 from paragraph 233-245. This prepared the atmosphere and introduced them into the sermon of the day entitled “THE INVASION OF THE UNITED STATES” 54-0509. The prophet read from 2 Chronicles 18:12-14 to bring a blessed message to the audience. The first part of this sermon was listened, followed with singing, worship, praises and praying, supplicating for the Holy Spirit from God. A Quiet Time of an hour was also observed for more intimacy between each participant and God. The participants were also privileged to benefit from a break of an hour to relax but remaining in the mood of the retreat.
The second part of the day began with half an hour of meditation and singing afterwards. The audience continued with the second part of the sermon in which the prophet demonstrated and called on all to run away from the moral decadence in the world and get into Jesus Christ. This message of sanctification led the audience to repentance, washing and cleansing them, making ready their bodies which is the temple of the Lord for the Holy Spirit to come and indwell. At the end, there was praises and dancing as the joy of salvation filled the temple anointing all. Before the last prayer by pastor Bouenguegni Jean-Paul, he exhorted more and more the audience to be sincere in their repentance and not go back to it again. The day ended with the breaking of the fast at the pavement and fellowship between brothers and sisters. Just like a container that has been emptied waiting for filling, brothers and sisters went home eager to come back the next day to be filled.

YAOUNDE YOUTH AND NEWLY BAPTIZED RETREAT : DAY TWO
The first day of the retreat gave the appetite to the participants to taste God and see how He is good. They therefore came the second day very enthusiastic to experience God.
After the half an hour silence and meditation, the praise and worship leader brother Tamafouo Guillaume led the audience in inspirational singing unto the Lord. The presiding minister brother Ombang Christian took over the pulpit to present the program of the day and introduce the preacher our prophet William Marrion Branham. To do this, he read from the Bible in the book of Acts 19:1-2a. The prophet took over the scene to bring the massage “WHAT IS THE HOLY GHOST ” of 59-1216. He read Acts 7:1-8 and told his audience how he love the Word of God and that nothing can conquer the devil like the Word of God. He said, you can’t come to receive the Holy Ghost without knowing:
-what it is;
-what It is destined for; and
-to whom it is given.
He then went forward to show from the scriptures what the Holy Ghost is: a Sign,Mark, Covenant, Seal of God, Spirit of God in man, Comforter, Advocate, our Rest, our Liberator, Power, Assurance, Peace, and God’s open Door.
The first part of the sermon was listened in the morning service and the second part in the afternoon service. The presiding minister led the audience in meditation, worship and prayers calling on God to accomplish His Word of filling those that hungry and taste for Him. Before the break, there was an hour Quiet Time for each participant to get closer individually to God.
Coming back from break, there was an exercise of question and answers in which the presiding minister led the audience to say what they retained of what the Holy Spirit is. The second part of the sermon was continued from paragraph 71 to the end. The audience once more worshiped, prayed, praiseed and thanked God with singing and their offerings. To end the day, pastor Bouenguegni Jean-Paul before praying, read à quote from the prophet’s sermon in QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS of 59-1223 from paragraphs 122-123, question number 103. Before separating for the day, brothers and sisters break the fast together with drinking, eating and fellowship.

YAOUNDE YOUTH AND NEWLY BAPTIZED RETREAT : DAY 3
The day started as usual at 9AM with the half an hour silence and meditation followed by the worship and praise led by brother Tamafouo Guillaume. Brother Ombang Christian who was presiding the retreat took over the pulpit to give the layout of the day and read from Mark 10:46 to introduce the preacher of the day. He also read a quote from the prophet’s sermon “Then Jesus Came” 57-0407E from paragraph 128 to 129 to call the participants unto more focus in their quest for the Holy Ghost.
The prophet then came in with the Word in the sermon “WHAT WAS THE HOLY GHOST GIVEN FOR”. He read from John 14:14-26. As a continuation from the sermon of the previous day on what the Holy Ghost was, the prophet went forward to say what the Holy Ghost was given for. He said the Holy Ghost was given for God to continue His work in us His church, for our convertion, for our rapture, to give us power in prayers, speaking, the Word, in holy living, put the church in order, give anointing to the preacher, lead us in the Truth, amongst others. This sermon was listened in two parts as the service was separated in two. After the first part of the sermon, there was a moment of worship, and then the Quiet Time was observed before taking a break.
Coming back from the break, after some praise songs led by brother Nantah Samuel, the president of the deacons who was presiding the retreat climbed once more on the pulpit to teach two choruses before the continuation of the sermon from paragraph 62. To awake and revitalize the audience, there was another interlude before listening to the sermon to the end. At the end of the sermon, the audience bowed down their hearts, minds and everything before the Lord crying, supplicating and praying for God to baptize and fill them with the Holy Ghost and Fire. With all the peace, joy and deliverance received from God, the audience praised, worshiped and thanked the Lord in prayers, singing and dancing. To end the spiritual part of the retreat, the presiding minister, brother Ombang Christian led the audience into the confession of their faith, engagement, determination and even oath taking to remain faithful to what they have received from God in these three days of retreat by making them repeat from the prophet’s sermon on “By Faith, Moses” 54-0720M paragraph 83. The last activity of the day was breaking of the fast with eating, drinking and fellowship among brothers and sisters before separation. Words cannot express the blessings and benefits of this three days retreat as testimonies from the participants and baptism of some speak for themselves.
