Under the patronage and coordination of the honourable president of all the age groups,  Pastor Bahoya Samuel, the celebration of this year saw the implementation of the original vision of the pastor on age group constitution. Far from being just a feast of coming together, eating, drinking, singing, dancing and fellowshipping, more emphasis was laid on the winning of souls to Christ. This explains many things particularly the theme of this year “A SOUL IS WORTH MORE THAN TEN THOUSAND WORLDS”. It was really a new look on the celebration of this year ranging from the organization, mobilisation, activities, not forgetting the new dynamic managing team composed of the young and the old. This fourth edition witnessed many innovations which can be explained by energy engagement and zeal of the new team and the participation of a great number of the members of the church.

From the day of their empowering as the organising team, this group took the challenge upon them to ameliorate the celebration of the last year. Mobilisation strategies were put in place to arouse the involvement and participation of all the church. This mobilisation was intensified through frequent meetings with age groups bureaus and direct communications to the whole assembly after services. Talents in the various domains were solicitated in order to involve all in the organization. They worked hand in groves with the Follow-up Committee which was the organizing body of previous years.

The celebration of the fourth edition of the Annual Age Group Congress this year welcomed many innovations that can be classified under two main domains being the Spiritual and the Physical domains. In the spiritual domain, the evangelical aspect dominated to almost 80% of the total celebration activities. In this domain, we had the following innovations :

-The seminar on Evangelization and the presentation of the End Time Message;

-Pre-campaigne which had to do with a motorised mobile sensitization caravan;

-The crusade (evangelization campaign);

-The offerings collection for the purchase of the Agapao Tablet to send to send the message to other parts of the world;

-The blessing of Age Groups evangelization equipments such as the lourd speakers;and

-Marching in with the playing of a tape of the prophet’s message.

In the Physical domain, the even was very colorful as concerns the festive installations particularly but generally,  the following came in as innovations:

A new management(organization) team;

-A befitting site (the hall of the restaurant number 2 of the University of Yaounde 1);

-The decorations;

-Service traiteur;

-waiters (servicers) ; and

-Symbolic gift to the pastor.

A total of 15 age groups danced and others marched in to present themselves to the pastor and his guests, say goodbye to crossing members to superior groups and welcome crossing  members from inferior age groups. This was animated with adapter songs in relations to the denomination of the group,  characteristics or their objectives. As mentioned in the innovations,  a group even came in with the Voice of God. This procession began with the little ones ranging from 00-07 years; 07-14 years girls; 07-14 years boys; 14-21 years Vision Girls; 14-21 Warrior boys of Jesus; 21-30  Power of Love girls; 21-30 Divine Love boys; 30-40 Maranata ladies; 30-40 Eagles of God men; 40-50 Salem ladies ; 40-50 Rock of Ages men; 50-60 Sion Girls; 50-60 Perfect Faith men; 60 and above the Blessed of the Eternal ladies; and finally 60 and above Faithful Witnesses men. It was a moment of joy, happiness, fellowship and emotions as crossing members separated from their previous groups and join new ones.

The last but not the least and maybe the most important part of the evening generally called “Item 11” which was much awaited finally came in. The promptitude to the serving tables defined the anxiety of the audience which has long long been waiting to feed the worms in their stomach. A multiple variety of dishes and natural juice was offered to the public present for self-service. The evening ended with singing, dancing, fellowshipping and merry making.
